HD monsters for alephone. These were generated with Topaz Gigapixel AI upscaling, with some automatic processing to correct colors and smooth the edges of the sprites. Also, a bit of manual editing was done to remove black outlines from a couple monsters that had thick black outlines. The Bob and marine faces end up looking very weird with gigapixel, so I've included the Bobs and marines from Treellama's ML Super Res Monsters plugin, so that this is a complete and usable plugin. The gigapixel monsters are scaled up 4x, while the Bobs and marines are 3x.
This plugin should be good enough to use as-is, but I'm sure there are opportunities to do more manual cleanup and tweaking to make them even better (particularly making fighter staves more consistent between frames). Notes for version 1.0:
- Adds glow maps
- Uses TL's ML Super Res Bobs and Marines, as gigapixel did not do a good job with them.

FOV Script 1.0

This is a script that modifies Marathon/Aleph One's FOV values.
"Why would I need to download this if I can just find the code to this script on the various threads at the Pfhorums, copy and paste it into a text editor and save it as a mml file?" Quite simple, because you're lazy.
Notes for version 1.0:
This script will not work on scenarios that have their own FOV modification scripts included.

These are 6 dB quieter than the originals (an attached text file explains why), but also significantly less noisy, much crisper due to the addition of higher frequencies that were absent from the originals, and in some cases free of substantial audio flaws like 60 Hz hum on a lot of the Headless sounds or digital clipping distortion on some of the explosion and weapon sounds.
Note that most of these are not exact reconstructions of the missing audio data, but best guesses that I put together in iZotope RX5 Advanced; in a few cases, however, I was able to use the CD-quality audio sources. Also, make sure you have 16-bit audio on, or you’ll get the original sounds. This is hopefully a "fixed" version of my maps. I works on OSX and OS9, but I don't have a PC or UNIX computer to test the other versions of A1.
There's only one terminal picture (which is a placeholder) so if you lose the resource fork on a PC, don't sweat it.

I played XBLA with just alien weapons on this map, and to my surprise, it was the most fun multiplayer game I've ever played. That's not saying much, since, you know. You all are... You know.
Notes for version ?:
Did you know that Pi backwards is Pie? 3.14- 4=P, 1=I, 3=E. Anyway, I actually recommend playing with Dead Players Drop Items, because the minimum count of guns here is half as much as the total count.

[07/10/21 update: New map added, "Tripchallenge Elemental Claywring".] You wanted it, you finally got it (and I've wanted it too): Height variation, differential shading, non-square based architecture, dynamic lighting, ambient sounds, textural variety, and random sounds. Initially this was based on the Kill Them All project in the sense of following the rule of having 100 polygons per level max, but over time it seems I could not stick to that necessarily. :3 However, I have made many of these maps from a 700-polygon template I made (you know, 700 because 7 because Marathon).

A physics-to-JSON and JSON-to-physics utility that creates human-readable output useful for version control systems such as
git. You can then edit these JSON files using a text editor, another program, etc. and turn them into physics files. Also included are utility scripts for:
- viewing differences between
gitcommits for physics, between any two non-tracked files, or between some mixture of these
- retroactively building a parallel set of commits for a JSON version of one or more physics files' existing history
- automatically generating JSON for every committed physics file, bundling the JSON into the commit
Source code and binaries are available on my website; also available there are signatures for individual binaries. I recommend using them to verify whichever you might run.
