Lua gametype where the faster you're moving when killing someone, the more points you are awarded.
For example, if you kill someone while standing completely still, you get one point. If kill someone while running, you get more points. If you kill someone while running and falling, you get significantly more points. If you launch yourself with a rocket and kill someone while flying through the air, you get even more points.
(Finished version will be labelled Space0ut 1.0, expect this map to be flawed until then)
Space0ut is a Marathon Infinity duel map where split second movement will affect your cover and sightlines.
Space0ut will possibly burn your retinas, or impressions of my map if played using M2.
Texture alignment is the last priority right now, but if you feel like I'm murdering your eyesight, please let me know.
0.01 - First release, may or may not explode when opened.
0.02 - Alienwep spawn raised (accessible by teleporter), south side balancing.
0.03 (In Progress) - Lighting improved, geometry changes, textures dewierdified, items ACTUALLY spawn now.
This script adopts W'rkncacnter's CTF script to the newer API. See the readme, the original CTF script, and the Magenta Filter maps for more information.
This release hopefully fixes out-of-sync issues. It also adds messages for all flag statuses (taken, dropped, returned, scored). There are also screen faders for these events. Finally, the alert sound no longer plays if a player is constantly picking up his own flag (i.e. when it continuously respawns on the base polygon).
I highly recommend updating to this version.
Checkpoints is an implementation of Halo-style automatic saved games in the middle of a level. Mapmakers use annotations to mark where checkpoints should occur, and the Lua script does the rest. It also creates a save point after each level transition.
Includes a sample map. Find all seven checkpoints!
The final edition of my third multiplayer mappack includes 20 maps for Marathon Infinity. This pack uses texture sets from all 3 games, with 5 Marathon 1 "themed" maps, 7 Durandal maps, and 8 standard Infinity maps.
This is 1 single player map. It was supposed to be part of a 3 map intro to an 11 map campaign that started a year ago. I'm hoping to get the next two maps added over the next month. Doubt I'll ever find the time to create the full campaign.
New physics file, new shapes file, and the merged map file are included in the download.
Physics of monsters has been modified so they act a little different.
The behavior of every gun has been modified. No assault rifle.
No new art.
If you're getting frustrated or just want to goof around, there's a secret door right at the start which leads to a Cheat Room containing all the guns and a recharger.
-Added 3rd level
-Changed shotgun behavior
-Added terminal explaining new pistol behavior to 1st level, also added ammo
-Added sounds to 2nd level
-Included physics and shapes file, along with infinity's original music and sound files
-12/28/15: made a change so that you actually transport to level 3 after level 2
Better Bridges is a new technique for simulating bridges in Aleph One levels as if the engine supported them natively. It’s a generalized Lua script that can work with any level that’s set up in a specific way. Included is a guide explaining how to make maps with Better Bridges, and a working sample map.
First public release
Cataract Bowl is amateur effort by a first time mapper, intended more as a learning experience than as a truly great map. At this stage I am still learning shading, which is why it's so dark; and my premises are straightforward and individually tested, which is why it's so tiny.
Cataract Bowl [XS] is a round, bowl-shaped level, 13 WUs across, with exterior walls 1.3 WU above the deepest point in the center. The mild mancannons on the outer walls were designed to send anybody impacting on them flying straight back toward the center, but in practice the actual effect is that anybody running along the outer wall picks up a great deal of speed if they maintain the correct angle, and otherwise simply propel one safely to the opposite side of the bowl.
Open to criticism, or mention of any errors or bugs I have not noticed in my testing so far.
Small changes to weapons and ammunition since testing in the meta.
NOTE: Many changes have gone into this game to address the two reviews. With over 900 downloads, I'd appreciate a review from someone else. Please? Many many updates to add pillars, stairs, transparency, different goals, etc. When this was originally reviewed, there were only 4 levels! Please review if you downloaded it.

Fart or Die! is a 9-level game that uses hidden areas, terminals, switches, teleports, and more!
As a beginner, I struggled to figure out how to create switches, terminals, platforms, stairs, circles (use circle plugin around a line), uplink chips, exits and terminal variants with multiple actions. I also could not figure out how to add motion or depth to water, lava, or sewage. All that works now and is included in this game.
I am not an expert map maker by any means (more a newb) but this map contains a lot of commonly used elements for map makers and may help some newbs.
NOTE: I am not a super mapping pro and my levels are much less complex than others on here…but it is that complexity that made it hard for me to learn by studying other maps. I hope this set of maps helps someone new on here. This is NOT an advanced mapping tutorial. It is meant to help you get over the hump.
Having said all that, it is also fun to play and I enjoyed making it. While the levels are not too complex, they are challenging and require you to follow game strategy to move from one level to another. :) If you play the game at the hardest level, you will find it difficult to complete. :)
Let me know if you like it. I'm in the pfhorums as dustu and on live games as dustu.
NOTE: I have addressed most, if not all, of the comments by reviewers on here and in the forums.
If you download this, please review it.
Enjoy!
Minor bug fixes.
Ryoko asked me to re-create the "Arms Race" game type from Counterstrike in Aleph One. Here's my attempt.
From the man himself:
Basically it's an EMFH script where everyone starts with rockets, and after each kill you get demoted to a weaker weapon, and the winner is the first person to get a kill with fists.
Initial release.
For mapmakers testing their terminal scripts, this Lua console command will set the current level's completion state to "finished". Install this solo Lua plugin and type 'complete_level()' in the console to satisfy any mission requirements.
Note: the command may make the level unplayable. See the included Read Me file for more information.
The perfect HUD for those of you who like to stare at balls while you play.
9 levels. This may be the most difficult scenario you will ever play.
Here's a review from the only person I know that completed it.
I just finished Ra'thor (except for the hidden level, which I did not find the entry point for).
"I've been playing Marathon since late '95, and think I'm a pretty good player, but your scenario is hands down the most difficult I've ever played. In fact, I'd say it's pretty near impossible to beat on Total Carnage, especially the last 3 vacuum levels. I freely admit that I cheated constantly for oxygen and once or twice for ammo (especially on Igor Ra'thor), and occasionally used Forge. I do have a life, and I just didn't have the time (or desire) to play those levels over and over again to reach the level of perfection needed to complete them on the available oxygen or ammo (at least what I could find). I believe I never cheated for shields, but I may be mistaken. It took me a long time to get through the maps, so memory fades. You made free use of hidden switches that made things that much harder".

This scenario was created back in 1998 and is based on Marathon EVIL. It's my original version and is meant to be almost impossible to complete. I'm working on an updated version that will be much easier and include 2 new levels...Version II coming soon!
This is a small map containing three boss battles.
It's basically three monsters with modified physics and shape files to make fighting them more interesting. Each requires a special type of arena for its behavior to work. Also, there's a Bob that heals you.
I had a lot of fun making and testing this. So, I'm sharing it.
That being said, the battles aren't totally balanced (although there are times where they work exactly as I intended), but that's why I provided invincibility if you want it. Also, each monster can be cheesed pretty easily, if you really want to.
My favorite is the Enforcer, although the Hunter actually works the most accurately, if you're not cheesing him.
Contains Physics, Shape, and Forge Map files.
A collection of maps I made using old forge tools (0S9 old). It also includes most of the Atomic map pack I made a few years ago with a few fixes and tweaks.
Keep in mind that on both 'Puddle of Goo' and 'Back In My Day' there are two hills separated by goo and lava respectively.
Also, The Squared Circle is a boxing ring.
Yeah, I'm A7om95 too. Just couldn't remember my password for that account =)
A map designed for racing. Set the game type to King of the Hill for scoring to work properly.
Line up, hit the switch, and run to the end of the map. When you reach the end, you begin getting hill time. Whoever has the most time wins. I suggest setting the time limit for 2 minutes.
This is a work in progress, and I'd love feedback on it. I think the core concept is good, but the physics and speed could probably use some tweaking.
Also, yes, the rockets don't do damage. They are meant to simply slow other players down.
This is a fun physics model my friends David, Steve and I made and have been evolving over the past, well 14 years. We tried to keep it very simple, and they are really just more of weapons tweaks that make the game even MORE fun if you can imagine that! Few highlights: Pistol gets 3 "sniper" fists, that will take you down to 10% health. Machine gun more powerful at close range but less further out. Missile launcher has a second trigger that can launch mini SAM missiles(bunch of them), SMG second trigger makes a slow fire wall. It's the little things that make Multiplayer fun for ever ;)
