Okay so I've been messing with Anvil and come up with a few things
Fly by physics: Use with fly by wire LUA by Timothy.
Melee: You've been injected with roids, turning you into a lean green fighting machine. Your left hook is extra powerful, lunges, and is filled with roid rage. Also, the flamer has been reconfigured into a chainsaw.
This is the second installment of the Marathon Groove Sessions. The participation wasn't as great as the first one, but the songs are of equal quality. Half the songs. Same quality. Good music. Thanks to Cryos and ukimalefu for their efforts!
First release.
Having adopted my own creation from the Orphanage, I submit "Elements 2 Beta". This netmap pack is hostable in the usual way and will also allow nethopping, which does seem to work. Since the map was made before A1 was around, I'd be curious as to how well the levels play using a PC; they do work on Macs. If playing A1 Infinity, all levels are playable. Note that "Speed Bump" has at least one platform which causes a player to be in constant motion; die there and you will not be able to respawn. Also note that the Jjarro level's central open area is easily accessible, yet there is no way out of it except for grenade or rocket hopping or dying. ;-O If playing A1 M2, the Jjarro level will crash the game. (The Goo level will also crash since there is an SMG hidden in the level :-) The levels were built for speed rather than looks (although most look and sound pretty good). Once the bugs are edited out, it may be released as "Elements 2". Enjoy!
See description.
A large netmap inspired by Quake 3 Arena.
Weapons and ammo are stacked. That's why you don't see much ammo. It's hidden under weapons.
Mr Vain 1.1
-added more elevators
-made a few elevators more user friendly
-added an abundance of ammo in item parametres. The Map now spawns enough ammo and weapons to max 8 players out.
-a couple of weapon spawning points were added.
-A hill and ball were added
Here is the first album produced from the M2 Groove Sessions. It includes songs composed by ukimalefu, Ravenpulse, CryoS, and $lave. Great songs guys.
And a special thanks goes to Windbreaker for helping me judge the entries.
First release.
Stand-alone game
Fixed gamma bug (nuclear) Bettered main menu text (LESS chance of cut-off, recommended setting is still 1024+)
Stand-alone Marathon game. Windows version.
Fixed the gamma bug.
Superscalar is designed to level the playing field, giving inexperienced players an advantage while increasing the difficulty for regular players. No more will you have to hold back or intentionally miss when playing guests.
The script determines the difference in score between each player, and adjusts the amount of damage they inflict on each other accordingly. The player in the lead will do less damage per shot, while the other one does more.
The damage scale is calculated per player, so equally skilled players should generally do equal damage. Damage scales quickly as the point difference increases. This can be modified as needed by editing the scale numbers at the top of the script.
Host using one of the standard gametypes like Every Man for Himself or King of the Hill. Do not host using the Netscript gametype.
Bonus: I've included Host_Advantage.lua in the package. I attribute all of my success last year to this script, but now that I can't really host anymore there's no point in keeping all the fun to myself.
This is a map with embedded shapes and lua. There are 7 "hills" on the map, and each player or team will get a point for every hill they have control of at the end of a round. The lua HUD makes it easy to tell how much time is left in the round.
This map should be played with the netscript gametype as it has embedded lua.
This script adds a new network survival gametype that Marathon: the ghost hunt.
As an UESC Space Marine, you are sent to seek and kill an invisible and dangerous ghost escaped from the depth of Lh'owon. It is very quick and can jump from wall to wall and, worst of all, you are nearly out of ammo!
Bug correction
Team play made easy ! This simple lua script adds a lot of options and parameters to tune your team netplay experience. It was originaly design to help people playing team deathmatch (or any other team game) by showing the teams colors on players in a more obvious way. It's now stuffed with other options !
Code clean up. The color change is now optional and can be turned off by configuration edit. Added friendly fire management.
Ein Heldenleben is a pack of maps inspired by other 3D games I've played.
I will add to this pack at my usual slow pace of making maps.
Zora's Domain: reset spawn points
Velora Pass: lit camper holes
Egyptian Temple: fixed ceiling textures
Arcadia: balanced weapons and ammo, added a lift to waterfall grotto
Added new map Anticitizen One
A small collection of Lua experiments you probably shouldn't host.
2 small bug fixes.
New Scripts:
Spawn_Kamping.lua - Players respawn with 3x health and a rocket launcher. Kill them within 10 seconds to score bonus points. Each second after they spawn players lose 10% of their extra health and are worth one less point. Who should you target? You'll know by the color of their shirts.
Homing_Rockets.lua - Now it's even easier to home in on your enimies. Just aim in their general direction and wait for the sound that tells you it's time to fire. But be careful. It's hard to maintain a lock at a large distance and if you hear the juggernaut then find something to hide behind.
Changes:
Fly-by-wire rockets can now be disabled by individuals.
Quantum Loched King of the Hill displays carnage report as time.
This is my first map ever. Its Coop or a solo map. I love it so far, idk how it works under coop, so just experiment with it. The map does have glitches. The glitches have been fixed and repaired.
Version 1.1 Fixes Bugs found within the Map. Releases Traps player behind invisible wall once the player has fallen into a trap
A collection of levels for solo/coop play derived from the DOOMWAD project.
New maps can still be submitted, as this is an open ongoing project.
Initial release, all maps created by me.
Use these scripts when people whine about spawn kills.
Spawn\_Blinking.lua: players blink for 10 seconds after spawning, or until they get a weapon, so you know who (not) to kill
Spawn\_Invincible.lua: players are invincible for 10 seconds after spawning, or until they get a weapon
Spawn\_With\_AR.lua: everyone spawns with an AR and some ammo
Double Aught's classic netmap pack hasn't been changed at all, except that I've made it into "Unimap" format and zipped the file, making it easier for more modern operating systems to use.
NOTE that the version you can download from Simplici7y will not work with old films recorded forever ago in the good old days. These sure as hell aren't the good old days. If you're trying to view an old film and Aleph One complains that it can't find the map file, get the original file here.
Switches from Macbin/Unimap resources to M2/95 resources. Meaningless to most, so don't bother getting this new one unless you're having trouble with the old one.
