Height as Some Feature is a script pack that will be released incrementally from RAY LABORATORIES.
NOTE: This script pack will only be released on forward-thinking sites like Simplici7y, not sites run by the obstructionists of the Marathon community.
This version contains:
These are some netmaps for Marathon: Repercussions of Evil.
This long-awaited scenario tells the tragic story of security officer Blam Stalvern.
WARNING! This scenario contains mature content. Parental discretion is advised.
Again, please note that this scenario contains mature content.
Finally, the new gametype craze taking the metaserver by storm is released!
MUNITIONS DISPOSAL, the latest gametype out of Ray Laboratories, is as simple as it is fun: fire weapons to gain points. Gives a new meaning to "Never Stop Firing"!
Ray Laboratories does it again with this must-have update to the original smash hit!
Detracts somewhat from the JOUST experience
This script is not broken. 5 stars
The combat is impotent, the architecture is flaccid, the atmosphere is sterile, the story lacks girth, the weapons are emasculated, the enemies are dysfunctional, and the whole package is generally limp-dicked.
5 stars for giving me the chance to write this review.
you didn't post in my DOOM 2 VOLUNTEERS thread and now you expect me to volunteer? fix your own damn fader, asshole
seriously fuck xilef
but surely avoiding the pain of mararthon is worth it?
ok script i guess
I hear from a reliable source that this script ruins COLORSPEACK.
If you do not have DOUCHEMAPS, you are criminally wasting your computer's processing power EVERY TIME you run Aleph One. Put that power to good use by rendering with DOUCHEMAPS.
you may think i've gone insane
but i promise you - i will kill again
That fader made me feel just like I did when I was being damaged by real acid rain in China.
I've run out of words for the flood of terrible maps coming down the pipe.
Fuck, you all
see http://cultofray.net/wrkreview.png for actual review
PS: DRONG is not a cat, but that does not affect this excellent map.
Move over RyokoTK, the new king of Marathon mapping has arrived.
After performing extensive testing, RAY LABORATORIES has concluded that this map has a 100% compatibility rate with the revolutionary King of the Height netscript gametype. You have earned the prestigious RAY LABORATORIES STAMP OF APPROVAL to go alongside the equally prestigious W'RK STAMP OF APPROVAL that you have already recieved. Congratulations.
but it's not tagged "fun"
so you lose one star
don't let the fact that that jackass seanyx-chris gave it 5 stars worry you - even a stopped clock is right twice a day, after all.
this 1 star applies to the previous review, and frankly it is about 7 stars too high for such a mockery of the concept of "review"
it still works great
there are no sounds
nice map btw 5 stars
now hear the word of THE LORD
Mon enfant, ma soeur, songe a la douceur D'aller la-bas vivre ensemble, Aimer a loisir, aimer et mourir Au pays qui te ressemble!
...after pasting this Lua into Munitions Disposal.
Let's enjoy wonderful LUASYNERGY together.
holy shit w'rk pushed me through a wall
pushed me through a wall and out of the game
While the technical merit of these scripts is unquestionable, I speak for all of us here at Ray Laboratories when I question treellama's stance against spawn killing. Spawn killing is a time-honored tradition of Marathon, and it's a shame that concessions such as this are being made to the rabid anti-spawn-killing partisans. Look to Ray Laboratories in the near future for some forward-looking action on the spawn killing dilemma.
Quite possibly. And for making me contemplate such heresy, this script gets 1 star.
Of course not. These scripts are merely perfect.
I was trying to scrub my floor but this script damaged my mop! You jerk
if this website had a 0 you would be getting it
I hosted some KOTH games on a few of your maps, and I'm going for worst host in the history of marathon and only host the worst maps, and you can see where I'm going from here, so 1 star.
i hosted these physics, which should tell you just how bad they are
is actually better with 2-4 players, just found out
