Plugin Version of Tim Vogel's 'Total Texture Enhancement Pack' v7 for Marathon. Updated to be compatible with Aleph One 1.2.1 and above.

The all-in-one (AOI) Marathon installer has these textures at 512x512 resolution. Install this to enjoy Marathon's textures at double that.

This folder is identical content wise to the 'TTEP v7' folder contained by default within Marathon's plugins folder, except all textures have been replaced by ones with a resolution of 1024x1024.

To install: unzip, and drop into Marathon's plugins folder, then activate it in-game.

IMPORTANT: Delete or deactivate the original "TTEP v7" folder.

This script adopts W'rkncacnter's CTF script to the newer API. See the readme, the original CTF script, and the Magenta Filter maps for more information.

Notes for version 1.0.3:

This release hopefully fixes out-of-sync issues. It also adds messages for all flag statuses (taken, dropped, returned, scored). There are also screen faders for these events. Finally, the alert sound no longer plays if a player is constantly picking up his own flag (i.e. when it continuously respawns on the base polygon).

I highly recommend updating to this version.

Navigate the path without stepping off, nor letting your crosshair fall upon the many enemies about the room. The result of which would be unspeakable.

Turn on auto-center camera and turn off the overhead map display for a greater challenge. Difficult but beatable.

A provided lua script also allows crushing enemies with your mind if you are into simple pleasures like that.

Pop'ems is a pack of 7 high-powered Aleph One net maps. They all have missile launchers, shotguns, assault rifles, and many of them have SMGs and flamethrowers as well. One map was a net map contest winner, and two others were runners up.

This plugin increases the number of AI monsters active at any one time. The increased number was the default setting in Aleph One until 1.1, when the Marathon 2/Infinity defaults were restored.

You should use this plugin with scenarios built specifically for Aleph One, such as Eternal X, Kill Them All, or Phoenix. When/if those scenarios are updated, you will no longer need this plugin. Do not enable the plugin for scenarios orginally designed for Marathon Infinity, such as Tempus Irae.

CFP is a complete set of high definition textures for Marathon Infinity and Durandal. Based on the original Freeverse Marathon 2 Durandal XBLA textures, these have been further enhanced by the Alephone community with glowmaps and made to support Marathon Infinity.

This is Zetren's 1024x1024 XBLA walls for M2 Durandal integrated with the bloom effects from thedoctor45's XBLA SuperPlugin and made to be compatible with the CFP set.

Installation: The downloaded file must be decompressed and the sub zip files moved to the appropriate plugin folder. The reason the plugin is broken up is for improved performance while still having the benefit of being compressed.

Note: Alephone doesn't handle overly large compressed plugins very well, especially on OSX. This is because Alephone would have to decompress the entire wall texture set just to get at the relatively few sprites it needs for any given instance. By breaking the plugin up into multiple plugins for each wall set, it only has to decompress what it needs for an instance.
