NEFX Physics Files 2

[2022-04-13 update: New one added, "Play Pretext to New Awareness".] This is where I will upload NEFX physics files I make. So far I have three.

What do these do?

"Play Pretexts to New Awareness"

This modifies the fists to drop infinite bouncing bombs that detonate upon settling, modifies grenades to be landmines, and modifies the rocket launcher to fire more explosives in a faster and honing fashion (albeit with one shot per clip).

“The Full Rounding of Age-Old Collective Drives”

Since the pistols and fists don’t really find use in net games most of the time except for self-challenging purposes, this disables both and replaces them with a fusion pistol of unlimited shots (technically 12,241 per the seeming allowed maximum on ShapeFusion, but you'll surely die before you run out), making it like the "starting blaster" of some first-person shooters. See how threatening the invinciwimpsi are now!

“Spectrallax of Dooming Possibility”

This makes all weapons work under liquid as they would above liquid and makes all monsters fly. This is good for net maps taking place mostly or entirely under liquid such as NEFX will later produce, where you can basically have “flying” deathmatches or survivalmatches, and thus helps to expand the combat possibilities of Marathon.

A Netpack v1.0

Map 4 was a Rubicon netmap. I retextured it so it can be played in Marathon Infinity.

Super Magnum Physics 1

Mods the magnum. Twice the recoil of a rocket launcher, and the power of a rocket launcher, without the explosion. Enjoy. PS THIS IS A PHYSICS FILE NOT A SCRIPT OR MAP. DONT USE ON A MERGED MAP. OMG. Why does everyone hate all my uploads? even the good ones? The ones that they TOLD me to upload? Really, I think I am going to start keeping my creations to myself.

A map i only converted to the marathon engine. not my idea.

this is the Citadel, biggest map almost ever... uses all space possible... Careful of the crypt if you use the Physics that emulate the bob war...

Notes for version 1:

some bad lighting here and there, still needs fog, some teleporters need hooking up, edges need killzones, needs a readme... other than that, iz finished.

@timothy, this is going in my scenario, and the textures would therefore be customized to the map. and idk how to do fog, and the troops were just cause i was bored. nobody likes bots.

[XL] Psychomanteus 2.0

An underwater map built in and around a scaled-up generator.

You'll need to do some swimming here; set your run key to something easy to reach if you haven't already.

Psycho Physics file:

*Movement is quicker underwater.

*All weapons fire underwater.

*Fusion Pistol fires safely underwater.


*All shots, including monsters' shots, will now fire underwater.

*The S'pht will not float to the top of the map. Instead, their "jump" height is left at it's highest.

The latter additions were made to make Psychomanteus more compatible with the Survival.Lua script. Enjoy.

Notes for version 2.0:

Weapons and Ammo. Okay, this time I really ramped up the numbers.

Made more items floaty.

Physics no longer merged; I think there was an error with Atque.

Ray Gun and Minigun physics 1

Yeah, just another crappy physics file. Made it a long time ago. Like all physics files, don't use on a merged map. CHANGES:shotgun shoots fusion bolts with blast radius, AR and SMG fires a larger burst (3 and 4 at a time) and shoot faster. AR bullets are powered up just a little. AR grenades have no changes; the AR just fires 5 at a time even though it might not look like it. Again, this is a PHYSICS MODEL, not a script. So don't use on a map with embedded physics. Also, FloatingX, TTEP and WEP not included. Get them in Simplici7y (except for the FloatingX; that's a 1-of-a-kind floatingx i made by modding Treellama's FloatingX. It's not posted anywhere to download.) Also, I made Super Magnum Physics ;) I just wanted to change my name. Also, the Ray Shotgun was not named after Ray. The idea of a "Ray Gun" was invented by H.G. Wells, a famous writer. "A very early example of a raygun is the Heat-Ray featured in H. G. Wells' novel The War of the Worlds (1898)." added platforms near shotguns

added an smg close to a player's starting position on the high ledge

added shading changed stair lighting from 100% to 0% to 100% to 50%

added some more ammo

changed speeds of platforms

fixed a wall that had the wrong blue texture

The Four Elements Simplified

The map uses 4 Textures Jjaro, Sewage, Water, and Lava each separated in 4 sections all converging in towards the center. Pfhor textures were also used in different areas of the maps. The simplified version is similar to the the first map with stripped down center.

Some custom textures were used.
