I'm happy to make my first contribution to the marathon community. This is a very short solo map with not plotline at all. In the creation of this, I focused mainly on the architecture, but the battles are also OK.
Ambient water sounds
Back from the guy you remembered... again...
Completely on Ye Olde Forge... again...
Featuring the all-new symbol of power! KEY LIME PI!
Remember, if it's tourist season, why CAN't we shoot them? ~Ruben
Added a recharge. Retextured an unaligned wall. Maybe this'll merit a review if someone sees it.
A Netmap that was built and almost abandoned because of lack of time , about a small - XS map.
An incomplete scenario that was the prequel to Marathon: Dave (mainly known as Dave demo).
Please read the text document that comes with.
1.0 - First time being released to the public besides the other versions for TBCROnline.
This requires the shapes and sounds from MPiD beta. I put them in the download so you'll already have them on hand if you didn't already have them.
This is 3 netmaps. One is over 20 years old & out-of-touch with reality. One is completely stale & warmed over. One is a fresh stinking pile just made. I plan on adding to and updating these, so this is just a test version & I'll be happy to hear any feedback (on Discord). Thanks for trying them out!
A map built from the Electric Sheep trilogy in Marathon Infinity.
It comes with it's own unmerged physics file. The Enforcer will ignore you unless you unless you make him berserk.
The aliens are really just for fun. After being tested in netplay, the ticks only got in the way.
*All lava floors teleport!
Hopefully the last update?
Fixed a bug with the main platform on the right; It's minimum height was set higher than the max height by accident. It will now fall to the proper negative height.
Heretical Cyborg is VikingBoyBilly's first complete single player map. It is also customized for co-operative play. It is modeled after the first map of Heretic, E1M1 "The Docks," and is an attempt at remaking a Doom-engine map into the Marathon Infinity Engine.
It started off as an entry for Kill Them All: Volume IV, but the polygon count went up too high. Instead of letting it go to waste, here is this completed standalone map for you to play.
Following a lot of suggestions from Ryoko and Brilliant, the shading has been enhanced, textures have been re-aligned, the architecture of the dock has been remade (the posts were missing before), and scenery has been added, with l'howon cylinders as a 'barrel' substitute.
Double Aught's classic netmap pack hasn't been changed at all, except that I've made it into "Unimap" format and zipped the file, making it easier for more modern operating systems to use.
NOTE that the version you can download from Simplici7y will not work with old films recorded forever ago in the good old days. These sure as hell aren't the good old days. If you're trying to view an old film and Aleph One complains that it can't find the map file, get the original file here.
Switches from Macbin/Unimap resources to M2/95 resources. Meaningless to most, so don't bother getting this new one unless you're having trouble with the old one.
The fifth and final edition of my second multiplayer map pack includes 24 maps, all varying in size and layout. Version 1.4 includes 2 new maps.
A large netmap inspired by Quake 3 Arena.
Weapons and ammo are stacked. That's why you don't see much ammo. It's hidden under weapons.
Mr Vain 1.1
-added more elevators
-made a few elevators more user friendly
-added an abundance of ammo in item parametres. The Map now spawns enough ammo and weapons to max 8 players out.
-a couple of weapon spawning points were added.
-A hill and ball were added
An underwater map built in and around a scaled-up generator.
You'll need to do some swimming here; set your run key to something easy to reach if you haven't already.
Psycho Physics file:
*Movement is quicker underwater.
*All weapons fire underwater.
*Fusion Pistol fires safely underwater.
---NEW---
*All shots, including monsters' shots, will now fire underwater.
*The S'pht will not float to the top of the map. Instead, their "jump" height is left at it's highest.
The latter additions were made to make Psychomanteus more compatible with the Survival.Lua script. Enjoy.
Weapons and Ammo. Okay, this time I really ramped up the numbers.
Made more items floaty.
Physics no longer merged; I think there was an error with Atque.
