Screenshot titled "Full Game --- Preview"

This plugin replaces some textures with those found in the Marathon 2 Preview.

The Marathon 2 Preview was released before the Marathon 2 Demo, and contains different textures, weapons and sprites than in the full game, and in some cases, the demo.

I highly recommend that you use Marathon 2 Textures with this plugin. Aleph One 1.0 also recommended.

Notes for version 2.2:

v2.1 to 2.2

  • Ugh, texture 010 was incorrectly named after the Preview, in which it was bitmap 23. Corrected.

v2.0 to 2.1

  • I'd forgotten to convert the new textures to DDS format. They should work properly now.

v1.0 to v2.0 - Completely replaced all bitmaps, using Hopper's converted M2 Preview Shapes (The screenshot method was worth it :))

  • Added textures 002, 003, 027, and 029

This is a superplugin for AlephOne 1.0 that lets you easily enable all the hi-res sprites and textures from the XBLA version of Marathon: Durandal with one single click. All required graphics are inlcuded- just unzip the downloaded folder into your Marathon 2 plugins directory. In addition to that, some glow- and bumpmap textures have also been included to improve visual experience and take advantage of AOs new shader features. No custom shapes files are required for this to work. Separate plugins for monsters, wall textures and weapon sprites will be released by treellama.

Notes for version 1.1.1:

Please note that this plugin will NOT function properly with previous versions of AlephOne or Marathon Infinity.

WARNING! - there has been a problem with the previous download (player graphics were missing) - I strongly suggest to everybody who downloaded v1.1. to re-download fixed v1.1.1!

The Grab Bag 3.0

Nibenon on 01/02/2012

Screenshot titled "Jjungle Jjym"

A compilation of Ruben Rybnik's and my own maps, each with a specific gametype in mind. Remember, since both of us contributed, we can't review. I leave THAT to you. Really, REVIEW.

Notes for version 3.0:

I've added 6 more maps that were meant to be EMFH, etc. but were then expanded for survival. Ruben finally updated "Palace of Eru" and another map.

Reviews are always nice, even the occasional spite would be a change.

  • from Scanners Live in Vain by Cordwainer Smith, 1950

  • Re-added three maps from v1.0. Renamed one of these maps: The First Effect, Tombo the Unicycling Gorilla (new name), and Cut from Desire and Pain. Added custom shapes to Tombo.

  • Added two new maps: Sister Mary Balrog and Televised Feedlot.

  • Adjusted some weapons, sounds, lighting, architecture and textures in maps from v1.1.

Marathon Aeon 1.10

Dugit on 12/24/2011

Screenshot titled "The Rise and Fall of Dugit"

This is the public beta of an ongoing solo scenario project. So far, seventeen levels have been made, containing twelve full solo levels and a net map. Enjoy.

Contained are all the scenario files, along with music. Included is the Total Weapon Enhancement Pack as standard, with altered alien weapon DDSs. Latest Aleph One is required. Operates stand-alone.

Please can you review it? This is a beta after all, and it'll be greatly appreciated for future reference. ß)

Notes for version 1.10:

I was going to save up all the new additions for the 2.0 release. But hey. It's Christmas. ;)

1.10 - XBLA HUD added - Goran's Hi-Res Landscape Plugin added (modified) - Terminal glitch on Words Which I Command and Jjaro Jjaro Evolution fixed - Textural oversights on Lapsus Linguae, Vae Victis and Command fixed

1.9 - Two new full solo levels - Gameplay enhancement on all main solo levels (generally more difficult rather than easier) - 3x Canister DDS made blue rather than purple (oops) - Expanded texture files - Music files heartily expanded - Loads of smaller fixes - All teleportation errors fixed

Hardfall.lua 1.1 1.1

Tfear7 on 12/18/2011

Simple lua script where the player will take damage from a significant fall, adapted from Cheat.lua, also allows jumping with the microphone key and plays sounds from large falls.

Notes for version 1.1:

Bug Fixes - Damage from fall occurs almost immediately upon landing, there is no longer and unrealistic delay.

Damage occurs from a fall beneath liquids now.

Screenshot titled "Alternate Colors"

Made this shapes file really quickly in ShapeFusion, they hopefully will interest someone who did not find MI's default color palette for players to be to their liking.

I would do this for M2 as well, but the HD players are just too nice, and recoloring them would kill me. Although if there is a way to recolor them instantly, it would be much appreciated to know.

Notes for version 1.0:

The last of the best

Notes for version :

Yeah I know the level "I hate this" is screwed up in the beginning and I don't know why because it worked fine two weeks ago, but now it's acting like it hasn't been textured.

This simple modification to the FloatingX LUA script file adds an ammunition counter to the Alien Weapon using the M1A1 FloatingX HUD. In keeping with the style of the FloatingX HUD, the ammo counter jitters and flickers back and forth to mimic the static effect seen when the Alien Weapon is selected.

To install, download the M1A1 version of the FloatingX HUD plugin, back up the FloatingX.lua script file inside, and replace it with this one.

Notes for version 1.0:

Simple code change to the FloatingX.lua file included with the M1A1 FloatingX HUD.
