Eat The Path 1.1
W'rkncacnter on Jan 7th 2023

Finally, a plugin that ruins mararthon.
This is a plugin for any marathon scenario that will act kind of like GPS navigation when activated. It can show just about any worthwhile objective on the map, and in most cases lead you directly to them.
This is a huge cheat, so it's not really recommended if you want the "true" marathon experience. It's for people that either don't have the patience to navigate through mazes themselves, or for people that just want to make sure they found everything on a given level. It can be very useful for tracking down all secrets.
Notes for version 1.1:
- Added ability to permanently ignore certain items and monsters
- Handle jumping gaps better in some limited cases

A horrible virus is affecting everything around you.
The only way you know how to deal with the situation is to spread it around as much as possible, and kill everything that remains.

Marathon 4 1.0
W'rkncacnter on Apr 1st 2022
This is a 30 level scenario that truly deserves official sequel status to the original Marathon trilogy. We're so confident about that, that we're calling it Marathon 4. There are too many people that helped with this project that it's impossible to name everyone. Thank you all fans of marathon!
This scenario is truly groundbreaking in that every time you play the game, your experience will be different. No two players will ever have the same experience playing through this game. The replayability is endless!

Aleph One: Pathways Into Darkness 1.3
W'rkncacnter on Jan 15th 2022

This is a full port of the 1993 mac game "Pathways Into Darkness" by Bungie to the Aleph One engine. Therefore, Pathways into Darkness is now available on Windows, Linux, and Mac.
Note: You must use version 1.5 of AlephOne or newer. Download here: https://github.com/Aleph-One-Marathon/alephone/releases/tag/release-20220115.
This is a little different from a typical marathon scenario, as it features:
- Levels that can be re-visited multiple times with their state preserved.
- Advanced inventory for carrying and using many items.
- Resting to heal.
- Use of crystals to use special powers, along with conventional weapons.
- RPG elements.
- An ending score based on how you do while playing the game.
- Talking to the dead.
Make sure to read the readme for important information about controls. There are some non-obvious things you need to be aware of when playing the game. If you get stuck, there is a link to some Youtube videos in the readme that can be used as a guide.
Notes for version 1.3:
- Requires AlephOne 1.5.
- Support for weapon hotkeys and resting using a hotkey.
- Various fixes related to newer alephone versions, the readme has more detail in the changelog section.

BRUTAL MARATHON 1.2
W'rkncacnter on Jan 5th 2022

The main thing to know about this plugin is that if you're going to refer to it, you must use ALL CAPS.
Along with that, you should know that it adds extra gore to every monster that dies. Some monsters spill blood when you shoot them. Bullets/explosions leave marks on the ground and walls. All changes are purely visual. The amount of gore you see is configurable (see readme for details).
This is compatible with M2 and Infinity, and any other scenario that largely uses unmodified versions of those monsters.
Notes for version 1.2:
- Tooncinator made the shapes patch fully compatible with Infinity by adding missing SMG graphics, vacbobs, and color tables.
- Removed the crush sound as it wasn't working for everyone and didn't add much
- Now with new butts!

Single Player Network Game (You Snooze, You Lose) 1.5
W'rkncacnter on Dec 14th 2021

Single Player Network Game is a set of Lua, physics, and shapes to simulate a network game using bots. The lua script automatically populates maps with the bot monsters, and the shapes and physics make them look and act like players in a multiplayer game. Note that this only works on netmaps that don't have embedded physics (this is the vast majority of netmaps). There are many configurable settings you can tweak to get just the multiplayer experience you're looking for.
This project is based on RadBurn's Marathon Conflict mod, and wouldn't exist without the work he put in to create the shapes and the original set of physics. I've included the unmodified Conflict shapes in this download to simplify the setup process, but RadBurn did all of the work for that. I have tweaked the physics a bit from the original conflict physics, mostly to make the bots act more like real players in a network game.
If you're just wanting to be able to revive in a single player game without reloading the map/saved game, then there's also a script for that that doesn't have any of the bot stuff.
Adminn said he'd make this script, but it's been literally forever and he hasn't done it.
(Requires Alephone v1.4)
Notes for version 1.5:
Slight physics modifications. Addition of BRUTAL option for more gore.

Aleph One compatibility files for Wheels! 1.0
W'rkncacnter on Jul 18th 2021

These are compatibility files for Wheels! (a marathon engine game) to make it work in Aleph One. If you happen to own Wheels!, you can combine it with these files to play it with Aleph One. The original game supported input devices for people learning to use a wheel chair, and I don't know if those work in Aleph One. You will be limited by whatever inputs it supports, so this is mostly just for people curious to go through the game outside the context of its original purpose.

Hitscan Lua 1.0
W'rkncacnter on Apr 8th 2021
Dumb scripts for making projectiles hitscan (meaning they travel instantaneously).
- hitscan.lua - Fast moving projectiles are hitscan instead of moving at 1 WU/sec.
- hitscan_all.lua - All projectiles, including flamethrower, fists, and monster projectiles have unlimited range and are hitscan.

Global Warming Lua toolate
W'rkncacnter on Apr 1st 2021
Global warming is real, and it's dangerous. This script is the proof.
This is an educational lua script, teaching you about the dangers of global warming due to rising sea levels. The knowledge contained within this interactive training module can be gained in either single player or a netgame, as long as the player(s) are willing to learn.
Your first lesson: resources will become harder to come by, and life will become more challenging. On that note, you will be required to track down Alephone 1.4rc1 in order to complete the rest of the training. This is the first demonstration of how things won't always be so easy, and you'll have to work a little harder to get what you want.

Mararthon: Yuge 1.2
W'rkncacnter on Dec 21st 2018

Mararthon: Yuge is a 30 level scenario, plus 225 secret levels for many extra hours of gameplay.
Yuge is a community project that was created in 2017 with procedural level generation using rooms that were mapped by hand. Mappers contributed rooms of various design and size, which were then fed into the level generator, which created the overall level layouts, texturing, monster placements, items, and sounds. Therefore, you will see some of the same rooms multiple times while playing through the scenario, but each will likely have a different set of monsters in slightly different locations, different textures, and you will likely have different weapons.
The level generator was created by W'rkncacnter, and 353 unique mapped out areas were contributed by several mappers: Windbreaker, RyokoTK, Sankara, W'rkncacnter, President People, $lave, General Tacticus, Glamdring, and Adminn_1.
Yuge has 2 new weapons, 2 new boss monsters, new wall textures, new scenery objects, maps with precipitation, and a new liquid type. Along with the procedurally generated levels, the final level of the main scenario, "enter the DOUCHE", is a custom map created by Windbreaker.
Like HD textures? Check out the Yuge Definition Textures plugins: http://simplici7y.com/items/yuge-definition-textures.
Keep and eye out for a URL within the secret levels where you can download even more bonus maps.
Notes for version 1.2:
Version 1.2 (December 2018): fixed terminals to work with newer versions of Aleph One, added fog to several levels in the original campaign, made minor adjustments to several levels in the original campaign.
Version 1.1 (August 2017): made levels work properly with co-op, added amazing icons, fixed an issue with the stats plugin.
Version 1.0 (July 2017): initial release.

Yuge Bigly Bonus Maps 1.3
W'rkncacnter on Dec 6th 2018

This is a set of 2304 Mararthon: Yuge style single player maps. There is pretty much no plot on any of these maps, it purely exists for killing monsters.
If you are unfamiliar with Mararthon: Yuge, it can be downloaded at http://simplici7y.com/items/mararthon-yuge.
The maps can all be played with the Mararthon: Yuge scenario (recommended) or Marathon Infinity.
- Yuge Bigly 1: The Loneliest Number - 256 maps with the same parameters as normal Yuge levels.
- Yuge Bigly 2: Electric Doogaloo - Explore the Doog District of INFINITYS with 50% chance of doogstorms and 50% chance of SPOOKYdoogs.
- One Weapon Edition - There is only one type of weapon that spawns on these maps. Shitsticks required.
- All Weapons Edition - All weapon types can spawn on each map, instead of only 3.
- Hardcore Edition - Less health than normal Yuge maps. For people that want a challenge.
- JIHADIC-1 - All maps have either rain or JUICEstorms.
- Roguelike Edition - Pattern buffers are removed and each exit teleports you 1-10 levels forward.
- Spinal Tap Edition - More health, ammo, and monsters.
- Wuss Edition - More health and ammo. For super casual gameplay.
Notes for version 1.3:
Version 1.3:
- Fixed terminals to make it work with newer versions of AlephOne.
Version 1.2:
- Windbreaker created new shapes files for a brand new series, Yuge Bigly 2: Electric Doogaloo.
- One Weapon Edition added.
- Updated all maps to include the full set of community quotes from Mararthon: Yuge.
- Fog added to all maps.
- Other random fixes and changes to make the maps better fit their descriptions.

Wrk Maps 1.0

Wrk Maps is a net pack for infinity consisting of levels from Infinity, M2, and others that have been modified, usually for better flow, or to look prettier. Along with Infinity and M2, maps are based on other maps by windbreaker, RyokoTK, Treellama, irons, and $lave.
There may even be a new unreleased map somewhere in here by someone other than me.

Differential Shading Checker Plugin 1.0
W'rkncacnter on Feb 15th 2018

An alephone plugin that can be used to help you determine if your map has enough differential shading. It will turn all of the floors, ceilings, and walls solid green. If you do not have enough differential shading, it will be difficult or impossible to look around and see the architecture of your map.
If after turning this plugin on, you can navigate your level easily and see all of the architecture, your map has adequate differential shading.
You will likely need to disable other texture plugins and any others that run lua like visual mode when using this plugin.

Jumping Hills 1.1
W'rkncacnter on Feb 8th 2017
Two netscripts meant to be used with the King of the Hill gametype. They will cause the hill to move around periodically. The compass points to the hill, and the lighting on the floor of the hill will flash.
Jumping Hills will work with any map enabled for KOTH, while Base Jumping Hills requires maps set up in a specific way. The readme has more details.
Notes for version 1.1:
- Added indicator to show whether the hill is above or below you.
- The exact same hill will no longer be chosen twice in a row.
- Added a floating fusion contrail for a better visual indication of the hill.
- Fixed a bug that prevented some maps from working with the script.
- Added Base Jumping Hills.
- Bumped Imperium down on the list of S7 files.

Rugby Lua 1.2
W'rkncacnter on Nov 9th 2009
This is a lua script that is meant to go with the Rugby gametype for alephone. Teams are red vs blue. The objective of rugby is to take the ball into the opponent's base.
This script mostly just helps let you know what is going on during the game. If you do not have the ball, the compass will point to it. If you have the ball it will point to the enemy's base.
The script also resets the ball if it lands on an "item impassable" polygon or if no one has touched the ball in 20 seconds. If you bring the ball to your own team's goal, the opposing team will get a point.
Notes for version 1.2:
Changes in v1.2:
- Fix a bug where the script will incorrectly determine that you scored a point on your own goal.
