Marathon Phoenix is a great scenario.
More Action packed than any scenario I've ever seen.
Textures are great. Well placed. Weapons have great variety, and each holds a special niche in certain encounters.
The levels are amazing too, enemies, architecture, and flow, all top notch...
...Except for "Escape Two Thousand." It's a level filled with nothing but dirty tricks and a badly placed switch that opens a door that you'll likely miss. After you memorize it, it'll still kill you.
F*** Escape Two Thousand.
the point is to ruin it
This script is not broken. 5 stars
You say this script is playable on any map, but maps without a hill just keep restarting the break counter.
The fusion bolt is cool though. The fusion bolt will also glow with my Extra Bloom Shapes on the Pfhorums.
This is an awesome script! I really like the new fusion bolt feature.
The combat is impotent, the architecture is flaccid, the atmosphere is sterile, the story lacks girth, the weapons are emasculated, the enemies are dysfunctional, and the whole package is generally limp-dicked.
5 stars for giving me the chance to write this review.
Another great one, Ryoko :D
Played the demo. Great maps. Screenshots wher?
It seems that you incorporated the best parts in all the maps that you liked, and just slapped them together not so nicely. The map is okay, not one of my top, but just okay.
A big problem I see with many maps on here are either flow or ammo. Out of 5 I give you a 4 for the flow and a 4.5 for ammo.
The map does a good job having the player follow really well into other parts of the map, also ammo is always plentiful.
As far as creativity is concerned, it could've helped to have more areas in the map, lighting could've been a bit more varied. The look of the map is very bland.
I'd say you seem to have the basics down with map creation, now you can step it up from here.
Truth
I'm giving you a 4 for a nice layout, you just need a few more textures and better lighting to make it work out.
I liked your use of lighting in some areas, but the texturing was a little bland (it may just be me). Also, I noticed that in the more difficult places (centre of the arena, on the pedistles), you place fusion pistols and ammo. Why?
but you knew that it was new
i'd give this file 3, but here's -1 for the suspicious review
Red Dragonfly consistently crashes A1.
Pretty good addition for first time, but the 3 juggernauts were a bit excessive. Also, lots of random ammo that is distant from it's weapon. . In the end it's just an add on. If you improved this a bit more I would give 4 stars.
It is fun in co op with others, but not all maps work with it, like most maps will cause for the wave timer to reset after it is done counting down, and you cannot play it in single player.
For some odd reason, it won't let me properly open the folder after downloading it, so I can't do anything with it. Do you know what I should do?
No install instructions and a nonfunctioning images file for windows.
But, you can bypass this by installing a different images file, and you can continue.
Fantastic overall, can't wait for that .lua!
Also, will it give the player a timer and scoring system? Because the scores could be done easily, every random treasure item could be counted as a point in treasure.
I use Treellama's Weland editor, and in it's rough state, this .LUA is the one, true, pure texture editor.
No idea how to make it work, so i can't rate it.
