Marathon 2 Upscaled Landscapes 1.1

W'rkncacnter on Nov 25th 2020

30

This is a Marathon 2 landscape plugin intended for people that like the look of the original landscapes, but want more detail than the originals allow. Most HD landscapes available make fundamental changes, and I've tried hard to avoid doing that with these.

These were created with AI upscaling, and I did some small touch ups to certain landscapes to try to get rid of anything odd. They are probably still not perfect, but the hope is they look the way they're supposed to, and are still improvements over the originals.

Notes for version 1.1:

Reduced some noise in the moon/space landscapes.

For a similar co-op experience, see Survival.lua.

Notes for version 2.1:

Version 2.1 fixes a bug which caused films to go out-of-sync.

Trojan M2 HUD 1.0

jamos05 on Oct 7th 2020

Arrival_0002

Port of the Trojan M2 HUD to work with the latest release of Trojan for Aleph One. Fills the screen more than the original M1 HUD, but not as much as the Trojan Fullscreen HUD.

Note that there is a known issue with the Alien weapon not connecting to the right side of the screen. See https://github.com/Aleph-One-Marathon/alephone/issues/222

Notes for version 1.0:

You Underestimate My Power 1.0

ProfessorChubbs on Oct 2nd 2020

Youunderestimatemypower_0000

A medium-sized EMFH map inspired by the M1 level Bob-B-Q. The "trenches" in the middle of the map raise to the upper level every minute, changing who has the high ground. There's also a secret switch that reveals every two minutes that'll temporarily flood the lower level with lava.

This is the first map I've ever shared, so please give feedback; Assuming I don't lose interest in a week, I'll be happy to patch it.

This is a collection of maps I used to play in middle school in 96. I unfortunately don't know who the original author is. Somehow I have managed to hold on to the file this long. Where some packs are hit or miss, this whole pack is pretty solid.
