Finally, the new gametype craze taking the metaserver by storm is released!
MUNITIONS DISPOSAL, the latest gametype out of Ray Laboratories, is as simple as it is fun: fire weapons to gain points. Gives a new meaning to "Never Stop Firing"!
Ray Laboratories does it again with this must-have update to the original smash hit!
Yeah, jumping on the bandwagon here.
This pack includes 4 physics models: Destruction, Synergy, VacBob War and Vidmaster Physics. VacBob War has been seen on Simplici7y before (with an MML script to boot) but the other three have never seen daylight.
Destruction is a classic over-the-top superpower physics model, including such gems as a flamethrower Gatling gun (which mows down enemies like clam chowder) and a flechette blood sprayer, which is in just because it's awesome. Slightly buggy, but if played well, is VERY FUN.
Synergy is also an overpowered model, but it is more reserved and realistic overall. It bears similarities to TC++, but with a slightly different flavor.
Vidmaster Physics is ALSO an overpowered physics model, but not for you. No, your weapons are downgraded to pea-shooters. It's the ENEMIES that get the power, and if you think you've seen everything and you're truly the best, try playing this. Don't even think about Total Carnage.
More information is in the readme.
First release.
These are some physics models I made for you. Two of them are Slow-Motion variants, and the other four replace the AR grenades with various types of mines.

This is the first version!
This is the Marathon Victum Demo. Only the maps and shapes file are included. This is compatible with the hi-res shots, WEP pack and partially with the texture enhancement pack.
Because Victum uses Marathon 2's Water, Sewage, Lava, and Pfhor texture sets as well as the Marathon Infinity Jjaro set, it would not be logical to simply add the M2 or Marathon Infinity enhancement packs because they would make the game look wrong. What you need to do is get both the Infinity and Durandal enhancement packs, then use the Marathon infinity texture script and folders, but then copy over the four Marathon 2 sets in the marathon infinity texture folder, so the folder will be like so:
-Jjaro hi-res set -M2 water hi-res -M2 sewage hi-res -M2 pfhor hi-res -M2 lava hi-res -Marathon Infinity hi-res script
Backstory: Marathon Infinity was a dream of sorts, and Marathon 2 has just ended. You awake aboard a human-built ship.
It's sweet and simple because it will be explained in the first level.
Known bugs: The third level has no ambient or random sounds.

My only good map pack.
So Underworld isn't totally dead yet. I do make levels occasionally, and I've added two to this version: Parc and The Multiplex.
Parc was formerly known as Pillow, and has seen a few small-but-helpful improvements since its original appearance on Pfhorums. The Multiplex was my contest map for Ryoko's 2008 Summer mapmaking contest; it didn't even get into the Victory Dance VI pack, so I thought I'd release it here for posterity.
The number one comment I hear when hosting the Co-Op 2.0 Lua script is, "I really miss the old script."
Now, with the Co-Op 2.0 - 1.0 Edition script, those players will feel right at home.
This modified script spawns players with full health. By default, players will be "slaved" to the host's beacon, simplifying the teleport system for new players. The HUD elements from the original script also return, showing deaths, kills, and enemies remaining. While in the map view, helpful text explains how to set beacons, change targets, and initiate a teleport. Also, this script crashes more often.
This is the result of the Summer 2008 mapmaking contest. It includes six maps. Winners include $lave, CryoS, and Treellama.
The Weapon Enhancement Pack replaces the weapon, ammo, blood, and explosion sprites with new HD ones.
NOTE: OpenGL must be enabled to use this pack
System Requirements: * OpenGL compatable video card (32MB of VRAM or higher recommended) * 22MB of HD space * Latest version of Aleph One recommended
Changes/Fixes * Added motion blur to shell casings * Added more detail to the Missile Launcher * Added F'lickta blood * Added impact sprites for drones, enforcers, and hunters * Improved the scope on Magnum Pistol * Other minor improvements
1.4.1 resolves an issue with Windows Vista having problems extracting the files from the WEP zip archive.
Best with 3-5 players.
Didn't I already put in a description?
A hilarious physics model which turns every monster into a VacBob while retaining friend/enemy data, from Ticks to Juggernauts. Works best on netmaps or novelty maps like the A1 map pack; I love testing this out on The Keep. Includes an optional MML script which turns the player into a VacBob as well as correct the motion sensor and overhead map to display every monster as a Bob.
Set overhead map to display all monsters as Bobs.
A Netmap that was built and almost abandoned because of lack of time , about a small - XS map.
This script uses the microphone button to jump. It will only allow you to jump while on the ground so you can't go flying across the map.
Be sure to this host with microphones off.
Version 1.1: Now makes a grunt sound when you jump and has cleaner beginning text (uses overlay instead of print).
Version 1.2: Now the microphone wont interfere with the sound. This should be the final version.
After a year of chopped up progress working on this map pack and a recent 4 month break, I have managed to finish The Warehouse. Version 2.0 includes 7 netmaps. Older ones include Punk Plaza, Spaceport Alpha, Docking Bay 4, and Deserted Lobby, while the newer ones include Avoiding the Light, Imperial Uranus, and Waterloo Carnage which was completely redone!
Thanks to Sharkie Lino for helping on enhancing the sounds!
Comments and suggest are always welcome. Enjoy!
Territory is a new game type for team play. Red and Blue teams fight for control of a level, with scores based on floor area. Fun and simple.
(See the Readme for greater detail.)
Since we don't have the GLORIOUS original, I've created another map of the same spirit (if not the same style) as One Way. Here is an example review from its debut run on the metaserver: "Wrkncacnter: my only complaint is that was too awesome" So don't hesitate, download straight away! (ALSO THIS MAP WAS MADE WITH Smithy AND Lua Visual Mode!)
Best played with 6 or so people on King of the Hill or Last Man on the Hill, which is a netscript by Wrkncacnter available on this website. At some point I plan on allowing KTMWTB, but it's broken at the moment.
This is a handy little OS 9 program that will un-merge a map file.
From the read-me:
Marathon Map Splitter takes a merged Marathon scenario file as produced by Forge and splits it into individual map, physics, and terminal text files for each level. It also extracts any resources into a "Terminal Picts" file. It is the exact opposite of the "Merge Levels" command in Forge. This lets you do things like peeking at other people's physics models (ever wondered how to make a potatoanus?), fixing the bugs in Blood Tides of Lh'owon, and converting old Pfhorte-generated scenarios.
These are some handy little applets that change the filetype of anything you drag onto them. They're useful for playing windows-based maps on a mac, or looking at them in forge. The tools are somewhat dated, as most recent maps, shapes, etc are in the universally compatible format, but the file typer may still be of some use.
Sky Saw v1.0
Sky Saw v1.0 is a map I made, trying to make a netmap in the style of a map I made in Tranquil Graves, Rapture. In my opinion, I completely failed, so this will probably see many nearly completely different versions (keeping little besides the physics). Despite the fact that this didn't turn out nearly how I wanted it to, it still is (for me and a few other people) quite an enjoyable map; just not nearly what I wanted it to be. The map is merged with physics, which mainly allow you to fly with the fists, give the shotguns more backblast and alters the fusion pistol.
That said, enjoy if you can,
$lave.
