Marathon Durandal Textures at 1024X1024
These are the original textures created for Marathon Durandal. In game they are displayed at 512 using DirectX Texture Compression.
These Textures were created by Steven Tzé (http://www.steventze.com) and Mike Watson. Script by Jeremiah Morris. Thanks to Gregory Smith for getting me to do this finally.
These Textures are free to use in any project provided
- You don't sell a work made with these textures.
- You don't sell these textures.
If you want to rehost these textures, please give a link back to the Aleph One team. Consider buying Steven Tzé and Mike Watson a beer, they put a lot of hard work into these, going from a postage stamp 128X128 indexed color image into a beautiful 1024X1024 image.
Also consider buying a copy of Marathon: Durandal on your Xbox 360. None of the money goes to me, Freeverse is long gone, but it's a good game.

These files will allow you to extract and implement all HD sprites and textures from the XBox Live Arcade version of Marathon:Durandal into your AlephOne installation of Marathon 2.
Detailed instructions on how to get it working can be found in the included ReadMe file.
This was made possible thanks to the combined efforts of Treellama and thedoctor45.
Hope you enjoy.

This plugin increases the number of AI monsters active at any one time. The increased number was the default setting in Aleph One until 1.1, when the Marathon 2/Infinity defaults were restored.
You should use this plugin with scenarios built specifically for Aleph One, such as Eternal X, Kill Them All, or Phoenix. When/if those scenarios are updated, you will no longer need this plugin. Do not enable the plugin for scenarios orginally designed for Marathon Infinity, such as Tempus Irae.

KTA3: The Complete Masterworks is every Kill Them All map to date, as well as 12 new maps, in one massive 38-map mega-mini-scenario adventure.
If you want to play co-op, using Co-op.lua is nearly a requirement.
Notes for version 1.10:
Added two more maps and fixed a lot of bugs, mostly related to co-op.

Arms Race 1.0
irons on Aug 18th 2015
Ryoko asked me to re-create the "Arms Race" game type from Counterstrike in Aleph One. Here's my attempt.
From the man himself:
Basically it's an EMFH script where everyone starts with rockets, and after each kill you get demoted to a weaker weapon, and the winner is the first person to get a kill with fists.

Kill With Style 1.0
W'rkncacnter on Feb 12th 2016
Lua gametype where the faster you're moving when killing someone, the more points you are awarded.
For example, if you kill someone while standing completely still, you get one point. If kill someone while running, you get more points. If you kill someone while running and falling, you get significantly more points. If you launch yourself with a rocket and kill someone while flying through the air, you get even more points.
