Better Bridges 1.0
Crater Creator on Dec 21st 2015

Better Bridges is a new technique for simulating bridges in Aleph One levels as if the engine supported them natively. It’s a generalized Lua script that can work with any level that’s set up in a specific way. Included is a guide explaining how to make maps with Better Bridges, and a working sample map.

Xmas 2: Icecave unburied.0
drictelt on Feb 5th 2018
Xmas 2 is the second in a series of collaborative single-player projects. It consists of 8 levels.
Contributors: Goran, Simon, RyokoTK, Sinjid, Drictelt, Shadowbreaker, Phobos Romulus
Notes for version unburied.0:
Apparently this scenario had gone lost. This is what I found on my backup drive. I suspect it is the final version, but I'm not entirely sure.

Retexture Lua 1.0
W'rkncacnter on Oct 1st 2016
Sick of mappers that carefully select textures to go with their useless maps? Tired of playing boring old maps that look the same every time you play?
Now there's a Lua script to randomly generate new textures each time you play!
It may even be slightly less terrible than you're thinking.

NEFX - Thresholds of Rite 1
Adminn_1 on Aug 9th 2017
The first in a series to be called "Marathon: Cry-In-Your-Stein 3D", "Thresholds of Rite" is a level built for Tempus Irae in the style of a Wolfenstein 3D level -- that is to say, no variation in floor or ceiling height (save for obstacles). It has slightly modified textures and physics, along with a new NEFX music track that plays in-game (if you have music turned on).
To get the track to run, just drag the Music folder into your Tempus Irae folder along with the map and it should run. If it doesn’t for whatever reason, say so in the comments. If nothing else, you can just listen to the music separately, loop it on a media player while you play, or simply go without.
Much thanks to Windbreaker for helping me with a lot of the technical hurdles, as well as playing through the level and offering a couple of good tips in design. You are a true comrade.

Thrudnesday -1
drictelt on Feb 5th 2018
This map was made for Marathon Shadow, long dead. It was textured in a prototype of a texture set that never saw the daylight; hence, it needs a total repaving (however the lighting may be ok). There are no monsters.
It is, in other words, wholly unfinished. But it is architecturally the best map I ever made. I release it under GPL and creative commons and what not.
Notes for version -1:
It is not finished.

Spatial Outpouring - Chapter 1 1.3
Mazaro on May 9th 2018

Spatial Outpouring is a surrealist total conversion I created since finishing Lost Lands. I had grown to feel that Lost Lands was too old and sloppy a project to represent my current abilities.
I had the idea of creating a 'psychedelic' marathon scenario with a highly otherworldly plot, and heavy use of bright colors and fractals.
I also used synthesizers to create copious sound FX and ambiences for the game, and included an original song of mine in the title screen.
I created a new monster, a new weapon, and changed a lot of the weapon functions and physics to make gameplay feel fresh.
This version has 8 levels (one of them is a secret). I may or may not find the time to finish more of the game in the future.
Notes for version 1.3:
Player returns to main menu after Chapter 1 ends, rather than to an incomplete 9th level.

Lower Grade weapons = More points
Weaker weapons are harder to kill with thus will grant you more points, stronger weapons are easy to kill with, therefore you will gain less points if you use them.
Many thanks to Hail, Benoit, limonene, Windbreaker, Data, and others for their help in testing and balancing the script.
Future versions may include turning off auto switch and customization.
Current Netgame point distribution:
• Missile = 1 points
• Flamethrower = 3 points
• Shotgun = 5 points
• SMG = 7 points
• AR Grenade = 15 points
• AR Bullet = 10 points
• Alien Weapon = 20 points
• Fusion Bolt Minor = 20 points
• Fusion Bolt Major = 15 points
• Pistol = 30 Points
• Running Fists = 25 points
• Walking Fists = 35 Points
• Standing Fists = 50 points
