Single Player Network Game (You Snooze, You Lose) 1.3
W'rkncacnter on Jan 31st 2021

Single Player Network Game is a set of Lua, physics, and shapes to simulate a network game using bots. The lua script automatically populates maps with the bot monsters, and the shapes and physics make them look and act like players in a multiplayer game. Note that this only works on netmaps that don't have embedded physics (this is the vast majority of netmaps). There are many configurable settings you can tweak to get just the multiplayer experience you're looking for.
This project is based on RadBurn's Marathon Conflict mod, and wouldn't exist without the work he put in to create the shapes and the original set of physics. I've included the unmodified Conflict shapes in this download to simplify the setup process, but RadBurn did all of the work for that. I have tweaked the physics a bit from the original conflict physics, mostly to make the bots act more like real players in a network game.
If you're just wanting to be able to revive in a single player game without reloading the map/saved game, then there's also a script for that that doesn't have any of the bot stuff.
Adminn said he'd make this script, but it's been literally forever and he hasn't done it.
Notes for version 1.3:
Version 1.3: Added an option for setting a time limit.
Flamethrower bots will always move forward when attacking, instead of randomly.
Bots will jump down from higher ledges than before.
Bots are able to use platforms.
Version 1.2: Added even more settings to the script so you can customize the game to be what you want.
Physics/lua tweaks to make the bots act more like real players and be more dangerous.

Marathon Infinity Upscaled Monsters 1.0
W'rkncacnter on Dec 24th 2020

HD monsters for alephone. These were generated with Topaz Gigapixel AI upscaling, with some automatic processing to correct colors and smooth the edges of the sprites. Also, a bit of manual editing was done to remove black outlines from a couple monsters that had thick black outlines. The Bob and marine faces end up looking very weird with gigapixel, so I've included the Bobs and marines from Treellama's ML Super Res Monsters plugin, so that this is a complete and usable plugin. The gigapixel monsters are scaled up 4x, while the Bobs and marines are 3x.
This plugin should be good enough to use as-is, but I'm sure there are opportunities to do more manual cleanup and tweaking to make them even better (particularly making fighter staves more consistent between frames). If the community is willing to help out, let me know in discord, and I can provide the png masters for editing: https://discord.gg/c7rEVgY.
Notes for version 1.0:
1.0:
- Adds glow maps
- Uses TL's ML Super Res Bobs and Marines, as gigapixel did not do a good job with them.
- Manually removed some black borders in cases where they were very thick.

Marathon Infinity Upscaled Textures 1.0
W'rkncacnter on Nov 25th 2020

This is a Marathon Infinity wall texture plugin intended for people that like the look of the original textures, but want more detail than 128x128 textures allow. Most HD textures available make fundamental changes, and I've tried hard to avoid doing that with these.
These were created with AI upscaling, and I did some small touch ups to certain textures to try to get rid of anything odd. Many textures are probably still not perfect, but the hope is they look the way they're supposed to, and are still improvements over the originals.

Aleph One: Pathways Into Darkness 1.2
W'rkncacnter on Aug 30th 2020

This is a full port of the 1993 mac game "Pathways Into Darkness" by Bungie to the Aleph One engine. Therefore, Pathways into Darkness is now available on Windows, Linux, and Mac.
Note: You must use the latest version of Aleph One for this to work correctly. It is currently version 1.3 and can be found here: https://github.com/Aleph-One-Marathon/alephone/releases
This is a little different from a typical marathon scenario, as it features:
- Levels that can be re-visited multiple times with their state preserved.
- Advanced inventory for carrying and using many items.
- Resting to heal.
- Use of crystals to use special powers, along with conventional weapons.
- RPG elements.
- An ending score based on how you do while playing the game.
- Talking to the dead.
Make sure to read the readme for important information about controls. There are some non-obvious things you need to be aware of when playing the game. If you get stuck, there is a link to some Youtube videos in the readme that can be used as a guide.
Notes for version 1.2:
Changes for 1.2:
Requires AlephOne 1.3 now. Making use of new AlephOne features for a better implementation of certain things. Various bug fixes and fix the spelling of The Labyrinth. See readme for more details.
Changes for 1.1.1:
Fix issue with people that started a game on v1.0, upgraded to 1.1 and continued their saved games. They were not able to arm the bomb.
Changes for 1.1:
Many bug fixes and other improvements/quality of life changes.
The readme has a full list of changes in 1.1.
If you are currently playing through the game, you can keep using your existing saved game. Just click OK when it says the map has changed, and the next time you transition between levels, you'll get the new changes.

Mararthon: Yuge 1.2
W'rkncacnter on Dec 21st 2018

Mararthon: Yuge is a 30 level scenario, plus 225 secret levels for many extra hours of gameplay.
Yuge is a community project that was created in 2017 with procedural level generation using rooms that were mapped by hand. Mappers contributed rooms of various design and size, which were then fed into the level generator, which created the overall level layouts, texturing, monster placements, items, and sounds. Therefore, you will see some of the same rooms multiple times while playing through the scenario, but each will likely have a different set of monsters in slightly different locations, different textures, and you will likely have different weapons.
The level generator was created by W'rkncacnter, and 353 unique mapped out areas were contributed by several mappers: Windbreaker, RyokoTK, Sankara, W'rkncacnter, President People, $lave, General Tacticus, Glamdring, and Adminn_1.
Yuge has 2 new weapons, 2 new boss monsters, new wall textures, new scenery objects, maps with precipitation, and a new liquid type. Along with the procedurally generated levels, the final level of the main scenario, "enter the DOUCHE", is a custom map created by Windbreaker.
Like HD textures? Check out the Yuge Definition Textures plugins: http://simplici7y.com/items/yuge-definition-textures.
Keep and eye out for a URL within the secret levels where you can download even more bonus maps.
Notes for version 1.2:
Version 1.2 (December 2018): fixed terminals to work with newer versions of Aleph One, added fog to several levels in the original campaign, made minor adjustments to several levels in the original campaign.
Version 1.1 (August 2017): made levels work properly with co-op, added amazing icons, fixed an issue with the stats plugin.
Version 1.0 (July 2017): initial release.

Yuge Bigly Bonus Maps 1.3
W'rkncacnter on Dec 6th 2018

This is a set of 2304 Mararthon: Yuge style single player maps. There is pretty much no plot on any of these maps, it purely exists for killing monsters.
If you are unfamiliar with Mararthon: Yuge, it can be downloaded at http://simplici7y.com/items/mararthon-yuge.
The maps can all be played with the Mararthon: Yuge scenario (recommended) or Marathon Infinity.

- Yuge Bigly 2: Electric Doogaloo - Explore the Doog District of INFINITYS with 50% chance of doogstorms and 50% chance of SPOOKYdoogs.
- One Weapon Edition - There is only one type of weapon that spawns on these maps. Shitsticks required.
- All Weapons Edition - All weapon types can spawn on each map, instead of only 3.
- Hardcore Edition - Less health than normal Yuge maps. For people that want a challenge.
- JIHADIC-1 - All maps have either rain or JUICEstorms.
- Roguelike Edition - Pattern buffers are removed and each exit teleports you 1-10 levels forward.
- Spinal Tap Edition - More health, ammo, and monsters.

Differential Shading Checker Plugin 1.0
W'rkncacnter on Feb 15th 2018

An alephone plugin that can be used to help you determine if your map has enough differential shading. It will turn all of the floors, ceilings, and walls solid green. If you do not have enough differential shading, it will be difficult or impossible to look around and see the architecture of your map.
If after turning this plugin on, you can navigate your level easily and see all of the architecture, your map has adequate differential shading.
You will likely need to disable other texture plugins and any others that run lua like visual mode when using this plugin.

Jumping Hills 1.1
W'rkncacnter on Feb 8th 2017

Jumping Hills will work with any map enabled for KOTH, while Base Jumping Hills requires maps set up in a specific way. The readme has more details.
Notes for version 1.1:
- Added indicator to show whether the hill is above or below you.
- The exact same hill will no longer be chosen twice in a row.
- Added a floating fusion contrail for a better visual indication of the hill.
- Fixed a bug that prevented some maps from working with the script.
- Added Base Jumping Hills.
- Bumped Imperium down on the list of S7 files.

Rugby Lua 1.2
W'rkncacnter on Nov 9th 2009
This is a lua script that is meant to go with the Rugby gametype for alephone. Teams are red vs blue. The objective of rugby is to take the ball into the opponent's base.
This script mostly just helps let you know what is going on during the game. If you do not have the ball, the compass will point to it. If you have the ball it will point to the enemy's base.
The script also resets the ball if it lands on an "item impassable" polygon or if no one has touched the ball in 20 seconds. If you bring the ball to your own team's goal, the opposing team will get a point.
Notes for version 1.2:
Changes in v1.2:
