One Way 2 2.0

thermoplyae on Jun 29th 2008

Since we don't have the GLORIOUS original, I've created another map of the same spirit (if not the same style) as One Way. Here is an example review from its debut run on the metaserver: "Wrkncacnter: my only complaint is that was too awesome" So don't hesitate, download straight away! (ALSO THIS MAP WAS MADE WITH Smithy AND Lua Visual Mode!)

Best played with 6 or so people on King of the Hill or Last Man on the Hill, which is a netscript by Wrkncacnter available on this website. At some point I plan on allowing KTMWTB, but it's broken at the moment.

Patrick Core Image v6

thermoplyae on Aug 5th 2009

Core-image-screenshot You got a message. I just got it. What gives? You've never been with it, I mean with us. I'm gone, gone away. But you were here, then you went and gone. Got the word? Oh, yes, yes. The bright light, Dad, got the sign. Sign? The light. Light? The message! Then you went and gone. Why? Give it to me, baby! That's it! Give me the rest! Give, all you want's give, that's it! That's it! And take. That's it! Take's all you want. That's it! TAKE. That's it! TAKE. Take, take. TAKE. TAKE. TAKE. TAKE. TAKE.

Notes for version v6:

Known bugs:

  • Unmutual. Patch scheduled for next release.

Monster Mash v1

thermoplyae on May 24th 2021

Requires Aleph One >= v1.4.1.

I was working in the lab, late one night

When my eyes beheld an eerie sight

For my monster from his slab, began to rise

And suddenly to my surprise

(He did the mash) he did the monster mash

(The monster mash) it was a graveyard smash

(He did the mash) it caught on in a flash

(He did the mash) he did the monster mash

It's about time Weland got some JUICE in it. Not so far off from Forge's Visual Mode either.

pretty solid Deeze Maps

thermoplyae on Mar 13th 2011, Version 1.0

Septic was a little small for the number of textures and architectural Things happening in it, but otherwise this is a pretty solid pack, something I'd be happy to host.

Don't usually review netpacks since I don't usually place netgames, but SOMEONE has to counterbalance the assholes abusing the rating system below.

amazing A Netpack

thermoplyae on Feb 11th 2011, Version v1.0

I heard from $lave that this was an amazing netpack. While that is good enough for me and ought to be good enough for anyone, maybe you, skeptic reader, need further proof:

for once i download something The Four Elements

thermoplyae on Jan 8th 2011, Version 1.0

There is some technical prowess here, but mostly it serves as a gimmick and a means to make my decent computer run slowly. It certainly doesn't make up for the obscenely poor flow and how the design continually obstructs your view.

Not a map I'd play in public.

don't confuse "like to see good or interesting things on the front page" with "like to see their things on the front page".

I actually played this before writing this review Crashinetors

thermoplyae on Sep 5th 2010, Version 1.0

No Simplici7y upload has made it so clear to me that not only does S7 need a review process before making files public (seriously, what was with that stream of M1 releases a couple weeks back), but reviewers' ratings should be weighted by personal worth.

If you'd like a physics file that replaces your projectile graphics with S'pht bolts to relive your own first, childish explorations with Anvil, look no further. If you'd like to remove uploads of this kind from the server, please join me in lobbying Appleswitch.

As advertised Halo - Combat Evolved

thermoplyae on May 18th 2010, Version 0.6b

I helped beta test this script, so I'd be remiss if I didn't write a review. Irons accurately and fully recreates the Halo experience inside the Mararthon engine, with the help of various AlephOne augmentations. Don't even bother with the original.

Verified Ray Core Image

thermoplyae on Aug 5th 2009, Version ALPHA 7

The only way this would get less than 5 stars is if it were fake. Having downloaded and verified that this is indeed the essence of Ray, I have no choice but to review.
