In this new NEFX scenario shell for Marathon Aleph One, travel around a corn maze to get to the exit without a map. If you try to use a map, you'll die, because that's cheating. So really use your navigational skills, prowess, memory, etc. You'll become a better person if you persevere through this.
Today I added one new map for Marathon: Corn Maze, "The Weight of Cumulative Collective Memory". This can be downloaded individually or with the scenario itself at the provided link.
NEFX is proud to present the first ever custom-made map for Pathways Into Darkness...Or at least Marathon: Pathways Into Darkness. This is an extermination level, so return to your starting platform to exit after killing everything.
This level is highly action-oriented and full of edifying trials and variety like never before experienced in the game.
Checkpoints is an implementation of Halo-style automatic saved games in the middle of a level. Mapmakers use annotations to mark where checkpoints should occur, and the Lua script does the rest. It also creates a save point after each level transition.
Includes a sample map. Find all seven checkpoints!
I created these maps between 2000 - 2003. They have been uploaded before in a similar format. This pack adds one large solo map. I'm not sure about all this new fangled stuff you got here so you might need to tweak them a bit to work.
Not sure what happened to the original; if it's still floating around somewhere. This is the new version.
This is an old scenario from long ago, here for your convenience. Made with bits from the orphanage and a dormant map from adam ahswell's hard drive. All you need is a clean copy of the marathon basics, no custom pieces.
updated the terminals to be spelled correctly.
